Private Forest Centre is currently participating in following international projects:

Network for Educated European Forest Owners (EFO)

Erasmus+ strategic partnership project (2015-2017)

The main objective of the project is to promote education of forest owners addressing forest management issues in order to improve the quality of forest management decisions, thus contributing to employment and economic development in rural areas of Europe. Project partners are five European forest-related organisations from four countries: 2 partners from Latvia, 1 from Estonia, Finland and Slovenia. Partners are of different size and scope, yet they share similar aims and target groups.

Innovative management and multifunctional utilization of traditional coppice forests – an answer to future ecological, economic and social challenges in the European forestry sector (EuroCoppice)

Forests, their Products and Services COST Action (2013-2017)

The Action aims to bring together European scientists, experts and young scholars to exchange knowledge about coppice forestry and to start developing innovative management and utilization concepts/techniques for future modern multifunctional coppice management systems.
